Angrove Stud in Great Ayton, North Yorkshire, is set in beautiful park land in the North East of England. Angrove Spotted Dick, also known as Pudding, sire: Ricco - dam: Angrove Dancing Girl.

Spotted Dick is our first 7/8th thoroughbred progeny who is homozygous for tobiano, born and bred at Angrove Stud

We wanted to breed a Tobiano colt that was as near full Thoroughbred as possible but if possible be Homozygous for the Tobiano gene when the test came back TOTO we were on cloud nine, Pudding was the first of three homozygous tobiano foals to be born at the stud all born consecutively.

 Pudding carries some very special bloodline's that we reseached for national hunt racing Gunner B an incredible tough horse himself, who has shown he is capable of siring amazing jump horse and not just in racing but showjumping- and passing this gene down to grand children and great grandchildren.

Nureyev the sire of sires a small stallion but well developed and strong capable of great shows of speed and strength and he has passed this down to, 23 Group 1 winners including 9 Champions, like Theatrical and  2 times Arc winner Alledged &  Peintre Celebre & polar Falcon Nureyev was leading broodmare sire in UK/Ire in 1997.

We beleive Pudding to have a great  pedigree of both combinations of Speed and Jump.
