Quality Livestock From Angrove Stud Coloured Thoroughbred Brood Mares

Angel, a 16hh bay 2003 GSB, racing name "Bond Angel Eyes", sire Doctor Fong at Highclere Stud, dam Speedybird (IRE) by Danehill by Danzig, Angel made 29,000 euros as a foal.

Angel, as reported in the Racing Post, "showed ability on her debut, soon pushed along but keeping on for second, and should improve with this experience behind her".

Angel came to us straight off the racetrack having had an impressive purse as a two year old - £2,292. Angel has now a stunning 7/8th TB Tobiano colt foal at foot by Ricco.

Angrove Dance Girl (born 12-07-1996) is a skewbald 14.3hh part thoroughbred.

Ruby is the only daughter of the prolific grade A show-jumping stallion, Sarah's Pride, who was  ridden by Carl Curtis winning the HOYS Puissance in 2004 jumping 6' 11" . Her grandsire is Captain Maverick; with his sire being the all time great French race horse Nureyev. Northern Dancer is Nureyev's sire. Ruby's other grandsire is the fabulous racehorse and spectacular sire Gunner B who adds the jump to Grand National!

Angrove Dance Girl has wonderful conformation and 7½" bone. Dancing Girl's winnings include Intermediate Endurance Horse. But she has since hung up her horse shoes and retired to become a brood mare!

Ruby has produced coloured   Homozygous progeny: Angrove Spotted Dick and Homozygous Angrove Cherry Pie

We have recently aquired 1/2 share of What a Blaze who is by oscar who is by the recently retired and Legendary Sadlers Wells

Angrove Stud as formed an alliance to Farlington Grange Stud in  Stillington Nr Malton North Yorkshire, Ricco has been booked to covered all of this years studs mares in the 2008 season and the first of the 2007 crop are due in July 2008.

What a Blaze is a very rare Sabino coloured Pure TB mare, she was bred in  Ireland and is fully registered in the Weatherbys GSB.

 What a Blaze has raced on the flat over 2 miles but seemed to prefer sprints What a Blaze is bred to be a sprinter but is to big for that job being 16.2hh.

  What a Blaze is the only Sabino mare in the GSB,  I have ever seen in the UK, The sabino Thoroughbred is hightly sought after in the USA as breeding stock.

  Ginger is out of a Roi Danzig mare called Danita,who won £4889 before her broodmare career, Ginger has bred a colt foal with her previous owners and has a proven racing career behind her,she has been placed several times on the flat,and has now joined our succesful  broodmare band here at Angrove Stud.

Doubtless AKA Foxy has joined Angrove Stud on the 2/8/08 She is dual purpose bred for either flat racing or Showing and Performance ,as her sire is the Unforgettable, Redoubtable USA, he has a envious track record on the flat having been in training for over 10 years a remarkable achivement,winning £149,952.

 he now resides is at End House Stud and is used as a sire of Polo ponies Show horses and racehorses

Doubtless is out of Some like it hot she went  through the  sales for 34,000 gns and she is by Ashkalani he has winnings of £356,208

including the Dubai Poule D'essae Polain (Group 1)

Loves Life joins Angrove and Farlington Stud's on Monday 11th of August Loves life will share her time between the two studs she is a beautifully bred mare by Pursuit of Love GB out of  a Black type mare Reine De Thebes FR by Darshaan.

Pursuit of love has winnings of £162.190 winning Prix Maurice De Gheest FR Group 2,and the Kiverton Park Stakes,  Group 3, 2nd in the July Cup Group 1 3rd in the 2000 Guineas Group 1

Very Sadly  our mares Sire, Pursuit of love was Euthanised in June 2008 due to a paddock accident.
